Default Had an unfortunate accident

So as the title says I had something happen. I was riding with my friend when he slammed on his brakes, and due to him tinting them, I was unable to see his brake lights and hit him. I swerved at the last second, saved my bike and life. Sadly, the reason for posting, is because his rear left footpeg was down and i clipped it with my right mid fairing. So I am asking you, the wonderful people of Kawasaki Forums to help me out finding a new fairing. I want as cheap as possible and paint doesnt matter because I know poepl who paint. I'll post a pic of damage later on today also. Thanks in advance!!

I didn't even think of that, would that be cheaper than just buying a new fairing.I've been seeing them around $100 on eBay.

That looks like you tried to compete in that speedracer movie....lol ouch

$100 is cheap, I would do that, and then still take my time on the repairs.

Well, that's what happens when you ride with a dumbass with tinted tail lights that can't be seen in bright sunlight.Like my parents always say,you gotta make mistakes to learn from them, and now I know to not ride with that guy again lol.

Agree with Drag^. Save that plastic and do a proper epoxy repair. If you want to get other plastic in the meantime, that's fine, but having a spare comes in real handy. Sounds like you made a good "save." Now you know to leave yourself an escape route for panic stops. Sorry to hear about the contact.

Another reason not to change stock turn and brake signals or mess with them. Sorry for the damage, and welcome to the forums.
