A Dirty polishing job on ZX9

Default A Dirty polishing job on ZX9

This is what i have been doing this winter and i am never doing this again EVER This is way harder than anyone can imagine and i dont recommend anyone doing this for the first time .. coz when you start you dont back out..... :-)

Yes, but looks like you did well. Getting the oxide out of the weld beads are a constant pain as well unless those are smoothed. Looking good.

Consider a new radiator flex hose that is ground down some in that pic.

I just changed the radiator fluid i cleaned the hose up and it was looking good so i just replaced the clamp..for now :-)

Seriously, my old 9 has been polished tip to toe. Stay on top of the upkeep and you won't have a problem. It's not as tedious as everyone thinks. Try to keep away from water due to the "milking/clouding" effect. No real preference on the stay-shiny compound; lots to choose from. I think it's worth the extra effort.

hahaha im done for now, maybe i will do it next winter if i will have feelings in my hands :-)
