First off I'd like to say i'm new to the site,and new to the ZX9R. So far really enjoy both...until....my great deal on my bike ended up being not such a great deal. Long story short,i'm in the market for a engine to drop into my 00' zx9r. Anyone know of a good used dealer or any other places to find the motor? Any help or ideas would be great.

Yeah it did suck! Bought the bike used of course,had 4300miles on it. After riding it for 40-50 miles started to knock. Once i got the motor opened up I found a very heavy weight oil was being used.The #2 main bearing was out.I'm not happy about the whole deal,but i should've checked some things closer. Amyhow,i did find a motor today. This seeemed like it may be the more inexpensive route to go,has 5000mi,and i figure i might be able to peice out my old engine. Thank you for the welcome. Can't wait to get my 9R back on the road.
