Default Winter time and attempting to detail the motor!

Hey guys,

Bought a 1990 Ninja ZX-750F with about 7500 miles on the motor, routine maintenance from previous owner (I doubt...), rode it for about a year and now up to only 10k and have what sounds like a consistent valve tick. Deciding to inspect this poor girl thoroughly this winter. Pet **** was leaking gas and flooding out the carb sooo I'm going to attempt replacing all gaskets, a valve adjustment as she is backfiring, leaking coolant and oil, fouling plugs, and is overall in sad shape. Clutch and transmission are performing excellent on the positive side. Any tips or things to look out for from anyone who has overhauled one of these motors before?

Thanks!
