Default wheelie

does anybody else with a 7 have trouble with power wheelies either first gear or any stand ups? I don't get why it's being such a pain.

YES, its extremely hard to do.
I still havent really even got a clutch down.
The rear wheel will just spin ( maybe I should do a burnout First ? ) or maybe have
a passenger (or someLead back there)

I read that U should (in 1st)
1)get to 5k rpms
2) pull the clutch in Slightly
3) rev to 3/4 throttle and the wheel should feel light
4) let out the clutch quickly but Dont dump it
5) continue gasing

I get no traction
I think I'll have to put my *** on the passenger's seat or put my left foot on passenger peg.

Dont get yourself killed.

i just want to do some cool power wheelie and stuff like that. i remember reading on some other site that the 7 weight is more toward the front than most other sport bikes. i don't know if that true or not, but it's making more sense everytime i try to get the front up

yea, i know. i posted a new topic in here for sprockets sets and nobody has responded yet. i am interested in getting a sprocket set where the rear is atleast +2, but can still use the same chain.

mine hates wheelies. then again, i gots a lo-ri-der. lol

i have a few other guys that rock the 7 up pretty nice. one guy tho hates doing wheelies on it cuz he almost looped it, and the other guy.. well, he looped that bitch pretty bad..lol

very snappy. strange balance point..i somehow managed to get mine up twice, and noticed is weird..

2 up might not help too much, but will certainly help with acceleration.

not sure of any real good gearing combos there bro.. at least good, well-rounded ones adept for wheelies and speed.. usually, you gotta sacrifice somewhere, sadly.. unless you're a badass, and can rock stock gearing..

yea, aint happenin! lol

I gots a LO.... Ri..... Da too and tha lo... ri... da is Alot lower!
I've seen people on youtube do wheelies with the 7 but I doubt they are doing Power Wheelies. I can Definately get my front Light but I cant really tell if its coming off the ground or not (it very might well be). I am working on it. I usually just do a fishtail or burnout though. I cant get traction for shiznit!

You might trydoing wheelies on a bicycle or fiddy dirt bike just to learn how to control the Balance Point before you go and do something that requires such high skills as our 7s do.

"looped it pretty bad" lol

i always do power wheelies on my kx 250 and been racing motocross for about 9 years, so i know a decent amount about wheelies. which is one of the reasons why it's so frustrating on my ninja.
