Default wheel help

I have an 87 ninja zx-750R F1 and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some aftermarket rims. I would like to put 17 inchers front and back. Also does anyone have any sugguestions for tires one the stock rims. also were you required to run tubes in those older rims.

hmm, I did not play with that combination of replacing 17 inchers front and rear. The suspension was so far off that I did not even go there.

agreed, the 16" front. 18" rear in combination with the soft suspension and this geometry? Going to a 17/17 would be great but the suspension and geometry will need to be tweaked as well.

Well I guess the question now is is it worth it to mod for 17s? If so do you know how. The only reason I wanted to was because I was told you can only get crap tires for those rims. Question 2 is my bike has a sticker on the front fork that says ESCS and I was told it has something to do with electronic dampening so how do I test this system to see if it works? And if it doesnt what should I do?

PS Yes it runs 16 front and 18 rear.
