So I was out riding tonight in my 1989 kawasaki zx750H1 when all of a sudden my ****ing headlights went out and wouldnt turn back on. Anyway, cops pulled me over and didnt give me a ticket, but followed me home. Im not sure what happend with the lights though, cuz when I switch to high beams the cluster shows the indicator light, but no headlights come on. Any ideas what this could be? Maybe bad wire, fuse, disconnection?

 

Not to state the obvious, but could it be that your headlight just burned out?

 

his has 2, did they both go out ? like they were unplugged ? check the wiring, it could have come loose.

 

yea, they both went out. Ill have to check the wiring first thing tom.. its too dark outside right now, lol

That's what it sounds like to me.

 

luckily the cop was cool and escorted you home...I am curious why your bike would do that too if you find out please post.
