You KNOW those put a smile on my face.
Sure, the new stuff is very cool....but for me, the end of the carbureted era (in the 90's) was pretty special. I love those bikes. They still had styling curves and were sexy.

Rickey Gadson's ZX7R
This is from the Bikeweek Prostar drag race in March 2000 at Gainesville, Florida. This is Rickey Gadson riding a Muzzy ZX7R built for the Pro Superbike Class. The rules allowed nitrous, slicks and wheelie bars....The bikes were awesome to watch and pure sex to look at when their clothes (fairings) were off.

I used to travel a little bit to watch the AMA races. Usually I went to Bikeweek in Daytona in March and then the Mid-Ohio rounds in June-July every year. I was nuts about AMA Superbike & Team Muzzy. I did this from 1994 up through 2011. I missed Mid-O this year and I haven't been to Bikeweek for a feew years due to lay-offs and other life events....I still have many more pictures of all the bikes from those events. I'm still trying to get them all scanned into my computer to preserve them. As I come across the Kawi stuff I'll post it here.
