Non Working Brake Light / Turn signals

Non Working Brake Light / Turn signals
1994 ZX7r, brake light was working for a bit but flickered when applied. Replaced grips so I disassembled the brake clamp. Pulled the two push wires from the lever. Now, no brake lights. Doh! Did I trip a fuse or circuit breaker? 2nd question. The previous owner totally removed the turn signals and canniblized the wiring. I would like to reinstall the turn signals. Best just to go with a new wiring harness, take it in to the mechanic or try to re-wire it myself?

RE: Non Working Brake Light / Turn signals
First thing, Does the brake light still come on when you hit the rear lever? If not, the check fuse.
Pull the two wires from the front brake light switch and hook them up again. I've had times when one
of the wires doesn't get back on secure enough. Or maybe the spade connectors are corroded enough
not to pass voltage. Maybe the micro switch is bad. Take it off and hook it up to a ohm meter to see
if you get any resistance when you push the button in. The circuit should be open when button is in. It
closes when button is out.

RE: Non Working Brake Light / Turn signals
Short in the wiring. Got it the brake light working. Now on to the Turn signals. When I put a test light on one of the sets of turn signal wires, the signal is very low. Do you believe the turn signal relay is shot or possibly another short along the wiring?
