my 01 zx7....
Alright i bought this bike about a week ago and loving it... until 2 days go when i was taking it to the dmv to get it looked at.... i get pulled over for no lisence plate. Well they end up impounding it but when i was driving away from the scene, i see the tow truck guy and the cop drop it! next thing i know i see coolant spilling all out of it! luckily the cop is eventually making the state pay for the damages... but when i picked my bike up from impound yesterday, i noticed it drives totally different now. when it warms up, it wants to die when i pull in the clutch. also i havnt started it much in the mornings since ive gotten it but when i tried it was really hard to start.it took like 3 mins of pretty much constantly pushing the starter........... anyone have ideas of what happened to my bike
?
heres a pic of it when i first got it.....

nice bike man! sorry to hear about the drop. check the air box and see if it fillled up with fuel. just a guess. maybe check the kickstand killl switch, maybe it got damaged?
nice ride! Bummer on the drop! I would be ticked!
Check the carb sync. After a drop the carbs/and cable adjustment can go out of whack.
edit: Don't forget to check all of the vacuum lines

Had to have a lot on ya for impounding the ride, should give you 30 days to get tags on it...dunno. Either way take it in and get it checked top to bottom, city is responsible for getting you back up. Let us know how it turns out.
they knocked the carbs out of whack. ********.
might have even knocked em loose. if the boots weren't tight, theres a good chance a carb or 2 (or more) aren't seated on the head the whole way and creating an uber vacuum leak.
also i'd bleed the clutch and brakes just for safety, being that you may have a bubble in the lines now from those douchebags.
and like ted said.. make sure the vac lines are on tight. the ones at the top of the airbox are important.. i've noticed tho that it'll run to about 110, then fall on it's face if they're not hooked up. theres a reason to this, but i won't bore you with it. lol
