help!!!! question about gauge light
I have a 2001 kawasaki zx7 and the speedometer and odometer light wont come at night. Like i cant see my speed at night. what should i do? does anyone know what could be wrong? how much might it cost to fix?
theres 4 or so bulbs that just plug right in to the back of the gauge cluster. they're replaceable.. chances are, they're just burnt out..
remove the gauge cluster with the (3) 10MM nuts securing it to the gauge mount (hopefully ya don't hafta take the front fairing off.. best case, no, kinda best, just the windscreen)
watch the little rubber bushings in the mount.. they gotta be there to hold the gauge cluster in nice.. just pull the grommets and bulb straight out and pull the bulbs out of the holders, replace and turn the key on.. if they don't light up, then start tracin wires.. lol.. if they do, turn her off, plug them bad boys in and slap it all together!
good luck..
