Default heating up my legs

My bike gets super hot sometimes.. I changed the coolant and that seems to cool it off as far as the temp gauge, but when the bike is running at regular temp and Im riding down the road the heat goes back and raps around my feet and legs which gets very uncomfortable after awhile. Anyways, I thought that changing the coolant would help, but it didnt really that much as far as my legs being hot. Im thinking about getting some heat wrap for my exhaust. Anyone have this problem? And what should I do to cool off?

mine tends to get pretty toasty as well mainly when going less than 40 mph for more than 5 to 10 min but no ideas on how to cool it...in the winter it is actually quite nice lol

Yea.. well whenever Im done riding and my legs practically have burn marks, it kinda sucks.. Plus when its like 95 degrees outside its not fun either. Im just surprised that people dont know what to do about it.

thats part of riding. you are in close proximity to an engine and also the radiator washes back on you and through those vents directly in front of your knees. Get used to it, wear jeans. Also feel free to widen your stance on the pegs a little bit and allow a little airflow between your leg and the body of the bike. Normal stuff dude. Be sure to stay hydrated as well... one thing you dont want is to be fatigued while riding.

Are your heat shields still in place? I wear full leathers and yes, I can feel some heat from the engine when the fan kicks in. I do not like exhaust wraps though. Causes more damage than what I think it is worth for my riding.
