does anyone know of a cheap place to get a head gasket? The cheapest I've found is Ron Ayers, which is $55 with shipping. Thats about half of what the dealer wants.

wow, that still seems high $. I cannot remember how much for mine, but I know that the 10r is only like $16 and there are 4 thickness sizes for the same price. I will have to look on the 7 again for prices.

where did you find it for that much? I know you can buy the 10r straight from kawasaki for $16 but they didn't show any for mine.

i found one for $30 at another dealership in nashville but that seems still a little high.

I picked up a spare kit of all gaskets for the 7, think that they go for $100, picked up mine for $20. But the $25.00 range sounds about right for the head gasket.
