Engine Vin Number?

Where would my engine Vin number be located at on my 01 zx7? No one can find it, not even the dealership and i cant get my plates without it

Should be on the frame, I can't remember exactly where though. I will check once i get home from work and let you know unless someone beats me to it.

check the right hand side of the frame. somewhere around your steering

on the throttle side of the steering neck tube. at about 90 degrees to the frame's axis.

if it's not there, theres a problem..lol
