i notice alot of bikes have the mirrors removed these days and replaced with the little metal covers in place. i mean i know it looks nice and all but damn i use my mirrors constantly to see whats coming up on me, especially at stop lights. i met this squid chick with an 06 cbr and she comes up to my bike and goes "ewww mirrors yuck" lol im like what?

 

Yeah, it looks cool without them but they are there for a reason. Much needed on the street. Plus, it's another excuse for the cops to pull you over & give a ticket. Some people are installing the rear view cameras on their bikes instead of mirrors.

 

I'd like to have these mirrors on my bike. I think they are pretty cool.

 

those have to be the dumbest looking mirrors I have ever seen! they look like a gaint banana.

 

i took mine off cuz i couldnt see behind me with them anyways....but i did put one on my handlebars that allows me to see alot better than the stock ones......well at least till i could get one of those rear view cams set up

 

i think they look pretty slick, but they are 195 bucks.. =/ i talked to the chick who said "ew mirrors" when she saw my bike.. she had 3 inch chicken strips, no mirrors, no signals, tag was up under the bike tail, and her helmet was her frame slider she said because she never wears it. lol no big suprise she went down already... i guess you have to wreck once to get a taste for it before you wake up. =/

 

what do the rear view cams do? i have never seen them.

 

its a little camera that you put looking out the rear of the bike and have it hooked up so you have a live video feed of whats behind you on a little lcd screen up front either by your guages or some where like that
