Default Where to buy an "oem" Chain....

Well I was adjusting the drive chain tension/slack today and noticed that I have 1 link that is about to bite the big one, which in turn could make me bite the big one too. The roller is completely missing off that link.. It makes a sweet (sense the sarcasm) loud click/clunk everytime that link makes it's way back around. I drive this thing daily so I need to buy something like..umm.. yesterday. While I was inspecting everything I found a tooth off the previous sprocket (front) buried in the 2 inches of chain funk that was in the bottom of the chain cover..lol So I don't need to replace the sprockets (as they are newish) I only need a chain.... And I need it quick and cheap.. Any ideas?

hahaha, that pick of the cracked and missing rollers was scary looking!

edit: You did not use this chain on the newish sprockets did you?

I heard the roller shear off on the way home yesterday..... The new sprockets have been on for 4k miles, I am not sure why the chain wasn't changed at the same time... I have spent a lot of time "fixing" haphazard modifications to this former track ****... One day she'll be back to it's former glory. I inspected the sprockets and they appear as if they are not worn or damaged by the faulty roller...

At 4000 miles, I would recommend replacing the sprockets and the chain as a set. Do it right

Really? How often should the chain and sprockets be replaced??? I drove my CBR for 16k miles and never even touched the chain/sprockets..

Since you have had some issues that have happened, I would get the set. I am sure that a set would last 10k miles plus if maintained.
