ok, i decided not to have them chrome plated, because im tired of seeing so much chrome on all the guys around here bikes. i think i am going to get them painted green just like bike. my question is do i need to have wheels sand blasted, or stripped or what first? 1 other question is should they be clear coated after paint, or use paint that is paint and clear in one. thanks

 

first, if you use reg paint, your not gonna like it.its gonna chip. get them sandblasted and powdercoated. its the next hardest thing to chrome

 

X2 get them powder coated.

i dont powder coat, you might want to go to the powder coating place and ask that one too see what colors they have. differnt places have a little bit different color

i got a blue 636, i was thinking of powder coating my wheels the same color as the brake calipers.. golish color kinda like the STI kinda look.... i agree tho.. powder coat is the only way to go..
