ok so today i went to buy a new battery for my bike and i told them that is was a zx6r,,,,,but the battery they gave me did not fit,, so they double checked and they told me it was the right one for that model.....so i checked my title and it says my model is zxj??? so what does that mean.?

 

I will prolly be wrong on this but it has to do with your model number. Look on your registeration my says zx636c6f and I know there are a couple of differant model numbers

 

Yeah, but there's no J's. The battery model number for my 2006 ZX-6R is YTX9-BS (12v 8ah) -- try that.

 

What model/ year is your bike? 2001 ZX6 or ZX6R? If so, it is a ZX600J model fo the R and a ZX600E model for a ZX6. Looking at your avatar pic it's a ZX6R ZX600J. You need a YTX9-BS,12V 8AH battery or equivalent.

 

yeah it is a 2002 zx6r or so i am told
