RE: What a weekend!
What's up BigBruno? I'm guessin we work in the same industrial center. We could hit it one night after work (sometimes I take it on my way home).
From Magic Mountain Parkway, take the 5 south to the 14. Hop on the 14 to the Placerita exit (I think its the 2nd exit). Turn right and go through Placerita Canyon (fun little cruiser) when you hit the end (~7 miles????), turn right onto Sand Canyon. In about a quarter of a mile you'll actually roll through running water that goes over the road year round ('bout an inch deep and a 10 feet accross (but beware, sucker gets deeper and wider with rain!). about 30 minutes later, you'll end up by the 210, pretty close to little Tajunga (coincidently close to the back side of the Angeles Crest ride).
Its one of the twistiest roads 'round here, so watch your speed and pay attention to the speed limit signs on the corners, they'll let you know when the super tight ones are coming up.
I can't ride 'til Sunday (outta town again), but will probably incorporate it into Sunday's ride (which will probably also include Angeles Crest highway and Soledad. If you're interested let me know and I'll drop you an email with phone info.
