what kind of milage should i be able to get??

Default what kind of milage should i be able to get??

I just filled up my 06-zx6r, and i only got 130 KMS so like... 62 miles on a tank?? wtf.. new bike. that right?

no way, something is off. I get 162 miles on a liter bike. 4+ gallons.

my light comes on around 250 klicks...that's with autobahn riding...fill it up again...make sure you are in kilometers and have at it...

i didnt think so.. i mean the thing only has 125 kms, im breaking it in right now. so iunno, i warm it up before i ride... but not for a ridiculus amount of time. Its ticking too... pretty loud. iunno if its norm. blah.

You should be getting 40 mpg plus. 140 miles per tankful during normal riding before the low fuel light comes on. 160-165 miles on a tankful before you run out. It'll be a lot less if you're riding really hard in the twisties and accelerating hard. Probably around 80 mptf.

i usually got bout 140ish miles to a tank before the light comes on....and then i still have another 1.5 gallons in there usually


Oh and if you just picked her up from the stealership...atleast around here they dont fill them up so that could be why

no joke when I got mine they said they filled it up. about 10 miles down the road the damn light came on...bastards

mine admited they didnt fill it up....but only left out about a gallon...hehe. Something about state law prevents them from filling it all the way.

so they didnt even test ride your guys bikes before you bought them ? mine has 2 miles on it and a full tank. i guess they fill them up and run it through the gears and make sure its all good before you take it.
