Default What to do

hey everyone long time rider first time poster. i am getting a late xmas present from a friend, 05 ninja 636, and i am wondering what to do first so i am going to turn to everyone and see what they think so any input would be appreciated.i recentlysold me 06modified 650r and cant wait for the new edition.

Does your friend need any more friends?

The first thing I think you should do is enjoy the bike...worry about the other stuff later after you are familiar with it.

Congrats on the bike, first change the fluids (engine oil, coolant, etc...), then check tires, brakes, lights, battery.

Do you have your motorcycle license, is this your first bike? If so, look into a Motorcycle Safety Course as they are very helpful.

jumper mod... its free, and basically it's said to give the bike an extra 3-10 rwhp (depending on other mods) from over 13,500 rpm to redline... here is a link to a good webpage that has pics and instructions...
