well i just got my 06 636 broke in and when ever i hit 9,000rpms i hear a vibrating rattling noise coming from somewhere around the guage cluster!! anyone else had this problem? I would get up to 9,000 and grab the guage cluster or mirrors or whatever else to seee if it would stop but it doesnt.so what do you think it is!!
please help!!

 

Yo I've been through this already take it out for a spin and when you approach 9000 rpm touch the clutch lever, the sound should go away. You need to changethe levers. Search around the forum Evil636 had some posts about the levers. Hope this is helpful . Good Luck

 

Clutch Lever? I would think that the only way it would rattle or make noise is if its to loose due to it being misadjusted *shrug*. Even still...I just don't see how a cluth lever makes noise.

I TOO HAD A NOISE AT 9 GRAND. I HAD PUT FRAME SLIDERS ON WHICH USED THE TOP MOTOR MOUNT BOLTS TO ATTACH TO . SOMEHOW THEY HAD GOTTEN LOOSE, CAUSING A VIBRATION THAT SOUNDED LIKE A BUZZER. NOW THIS MAY NOT BE THE PROBLEM, BUT IT ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO CHECK.

lol yea and i figured that got it through my head and i went and got the pazzo's maybe it'll work for someone else haha
