Unpacking Stock Exhaust on 06' 636
I have an 06' 636, and was wondering how hard would it be to unpack, and basically unbaffle my exhuast. I have an extra can so its not really a big deal if i mess up, but was curious if anyone had done it, how it sounded, and how hard it was. I have seen/heard about other bikes/cans doing this, and it not being that hard, but don't wanna bother if its not something worth it. Thanks

I took my stock can that was all rashed and cut it to about a quarter of its' size and did the same with the inner baffle...Riveted it back together and viola...mini exhaust. A little louder than stock and it looks hella cool. If you take it all out it, it's reeeeeeaaaaallly loud...just like a big echo tube...sounds like ****...

i cut my muzzy pipe in half, unpacked it and made a shorty exhaust also... the muzzy pipe had scews for the ends instead of rivets so it was simple... The bike sound awsome and looks great... i havent looked at the exhaust on the 06 model

Mine looks like ****...it's uneven at the end but just a little bit. I have a new stock muffler at the house, but wanted a little project to do. It was rashed from the previous owner so I figured if I messed it up than it wouldn't matter. It worked fine though. Sounds pretty like stock just a tad louder. Unpacking = loud echo tube. Shorty = badass
