How well would jeans holdup against all that?

 

not well at all. i know i think about it everytime i ride

 

Man, you had a lot of good stuff on your bike. Is the insurance company giving you extra for the accessories?

 

Here is a link to how well jeans would hold up (direct quote from the guy "My gear saved my life, just wish i had on something besides jeans as they shred right off.") - ever since I saw it, I started wearing my riding pants everytime I go out.

thanks everyone, i see that i inspired one person here to gear up, so thats a plus.


as for all my stuff, yeah its all covered. from my gear to the powdercoat on my rims. hell i have $1250 in paint and powdercoat. my insurance company is gonna love me. My gear totaled about $1000. the stuff stolen off my bike is also covered. state farm is pretty darn good. Im sure my rates are gonna rise, but thats a given with any wreck.



I just got a call from the ortho, i have to go for my MRI friday or monday. I tell you what, today i feel great. 95% of all my soreness is gone. My shoulders still hurt, but i can live with that. Once im up and about i get sore pretty fast, but if i sit for awhile i feel pretty good.

Watch out, those meds may hide some real pain. I've wrecked with jeans a lot and never got 1/4 that tore up.
