well i was reading the service manual and came across this. I find it hard to believe that our tires are only rated for 80mph.

well duh... think about it...2 tires 80mph each... that's 160 mph... We are golden, esp those of us with th-1/+2 who top out at 155

I can't believe you read the manual Did you read the part that states you should not down shift until you are under 5000 rpms in fear of rear wheel lockup? What was the purpose of going with the slipper clutch?

Anyway, the ZR tires are rated at over 149 mph if that makes you feel at ease at that speed

tire ratings are based on a constant speed for a duration of 24 hours, not maximun speed
