I have an 05 and if they do a recall they will probably do it by affected VIN's, right? I'm not sure if mine is a late model 05 or if it will be affected but I sure would like the fix now before I get caught in traffic.

Well, I've got 2700 miles thus far on my 06. What I thought may have been the TB problem was in fact just water mixed into my fuel. I really hope I did not end up with faulty TBs though.

its 05's as well a guy came to my dealership today with an 05 and his was doing the cutting out on the road and the noise at startup problem, hes got 2000 miles on his bike, and on a side note i just got my bike back today
