about time for my oil change i was thinking about going with red line oil.. but i thought id see what u guys thought was the best type of oil to use....

 

I just switched to Repsol...you can feel the difference...I'm even going to use it in my car!!!

 

I use Amsoil in both bike and car...

 

i ned to get on a one brand deal here.

amsoil in the ranger

royal purple in the 250

mobil 1 syn. in the foci

bel ray in the dirt bikes and

spectro in the 636

plus all the other crap i have that requires oil


how many miles on your bike ?

i just use the kawi chem. oil

that way i wont have any problems

 

I use mobil-1 in my car, and castrol 10w40 in both bikes. I may switch over to synthetic oil once my Ninja is fully broken in. I would probably go with amsoil. When I worked for an auto parts store, I remember when people would bring in their used amsoil to dispose of, and it still looked brand new. It must be really good stuff!

 

I need to do some research on the different Tests that have been done. I think Sport Rider did a test on Oils and found the Maxima Oils to be good. I've also heard that Amsoil has done a Test/ Comparison of oils.

 

where can i get some repsol 10w-50 i have looked online and found not that much, is it something i can just go down to napa and order? where do you guiys get yours?
