I don't think I called this by the right name but what is the cheapest way to remove that whole tag/fender assembly while still retaining the tag and possibly the light? If retaining the light makes it $100 opposed to just using a small handmade bracket that does not include the light I'll do that. Oh, and where is the disconnect for the tag light? Do I just disconnect it there at the back of the light assembly and shove it in under the seat area?

So that piece is under all that plastic? All I have to do is drill a few new holes for the plate piece?

 

no, unbolt your stock mud flap and bolt this entire unit as you see it on your bike, ohh and put your lic plate light on it because i cut mine up.

 

ok i think i know what your saying, the only piece of that stock fender thats on my bike is the little square the light wire grommet is going into. the rest i trashed.

 

So the metal piece that looks like you cut the bungee hooks off is not stock? How much?
