Default Switch Engine

Hi, im new on this forum.
I hope some one her can help me.
I have an ZX6r 1998, and I have my hands on an ZX9r engine now. But will this fit into my bike whitout big problems? The engine has to be rebuilt, but thats no big deal.

anythings possible, but in reality, its not worth it to do the work and spend the money to wedge a 9 motor into a 6 frame. cheaper to buy a frame off of e bay and build a rat bike with that motor.

i dont want a rat-bike. my bike is clean...some one said it will fit.. but i hope to find someone that have done this before...

so you meen it will fit? or a big jobb.. i live in norway.. its high price on R-bikes over here...

by the time you make mounts so the motor will fit in the frame, gusset the frame so it wont crack, modify your fairings so they will fit ect ect...... its not worth it. motor mounts, exhaust mounting and frame work are the pocket book breakers unless you can fab yourself. and then, its still going to be a pain in the ***.

+1 to what Evil said, but it can be done. That would be a big expensive project, but i don't know about not worth it.

wow, did not realize that a 9r would fit in the 98 6r frame. Even on the 7 frames, there were some mods to get them to fit.
