Suspension Tweeking
I'm looking to get my suspensoin tweeked. I want it geared for the canyon riding that I do as well as everday riding to a from work. I'm weighing in at 165 lbs these days and am 5'8"/5'9" tall.
Does anyone have their suspension geared to anything like this and is about my height and weight? Or does anyone know where I can go to get the info I know. Thanks.

trial and error. the bike comes stock for a 150lb rider i think so if it feels soft, turn the clickers up one click stiffer and go test it out. some like a stiff ride (names withheld to protect the innocent) with hellafied rebound, some like it soft with a slow rebound. the book i mentioned in another thread. keith code, a twist of the wrist has some guides to helping you set the bike up to your riding style and weight.
I know all of this. I just don't want to spend all that time. If someone already has their bike geared to the settings I want and weigh in the same ballpark as I do, then I can take it from there. I like to work smarter...
not harder.
Otherwise, I will be stuck just tunning it myself. Thanks for that book though. That should help out too.

I'm only about 5'9" and 160-165 lbs so the factory settings seem almost too stiff. I need to loosen her up a little. We went up our local canyon this morning for the first time since selling my 2000 F4 and I their was a hell of a difference. The previous owner (my brother) tweeked her just right when he owned her. It helped that we're about the same size. ... except I'm sexier. LOL [8D]
It was just taking too much effort to get her totally leaned over without her wanting to stand back up on me. I'm guess since no one has worked on their suspension I'm starting from scratch. Oh well. It'll just make her and I closer.
Thanks man.

Not sure if you have already done this but start here. http://www.gostar-racing.com/club/mo...ion_set-up.htm
After that make small adjustments as needed. I have left mine alone after setting the sag and she works great.
