Sprocket change

RE: Sprocket change
True so I should have put it this way. I will not decrease any tourqe on my bike to make it go faster. If I want to do more wheelies then I might change the sprocket to gice it more tourqe and then less top end speed.

I run -1 +2 and it rocks. Screw the top end, for me I do not do much ridding at 185 so it is better to be quicker. Since then I have seen 156 on my speedo, and it is correct, and there was still more left, I bet she will top out at 170.
Let us know what you think about -1+3 tx.

stick with the -1+2 tx. even though 1 tooth in the rear wont make a whole hell of a big difference. i think most of the power up kits use a 45 rear anyway. post back.

With that gearing change, the speedo will be closer to being accurate I bet; because the engine will turn faster but the bike will go slower top speed. The speed sensor is located at the front sprocket shaft.

I believe that is the odometer and not the speedo. The speedo is electronic on on the zx6 636 and the 10.
Sproket change will through the speedo off a lot.
