Default Son of a %#@*^

So I go to the garage to get on my bike yesterday, and when I try to roll it backwards it doesnt want to move. I check to make sure it's in nuetral, it is. so i pull in the clutch anyways, and it still doesnt want to roll. i look down to notice that my back tire is completely flat. So i fire up the compressor and fill it back up. i waited a few minutes and listened to try and hear a leak, all seems well. I jump on it and head to work, get there to find my tire is a bit low again. so now i roll the bike forward and find a screw between one of the tread grooves. I was so mad. My bike only has 275 miles. I didn't even get to do a burnout yet on the tire. To make it worse I had to spend my sprocket and chain money to replace the tire.

that sucked.......but the dealer give me free mounting and balancing cause he felt bad!

That si why I purchased the tireand wheel protection plan. If some thing happens to your tire like that they replace it for free. So about every 2000 miles or so you put a mail or screw in it and take it to the dealer and get a new tire.

Just plug it for now unless you plan on racing. Use the tire up. It'll be fine for 5000 miles and then you'll be ready for a new one.

Sorry about your luck but I got a story that beats that......

Last year I bought some off road tires for my truck (nobby 10 ply tires) 250 bucks a piece plus a spare (I saved up for these for quite a while). I go into the mountains alot and do off roading and I was tired of the flats I would get after each trip (not kidding). Anyways two days after I bought these tires I pick up the mother of all nails and it rubbs through the sidewall[:@] (only about 20miles on the tire). Long story short I had to go and get another one.At least the guy was nice enough to give me a discount.

yea alot of my friends have had plugs in their tires for a long time w/ no problems except maybe a real slow leak like he would have fill it up every 2-3 weeks
