some ? about dampers
so what are the major diffrences between GPR/Scotts style (rotary?) vs Ohlins style (linear?)? I tried searching but only one post about dampers came up. I just looking for some I can use to make a decision on what one im gonna pick up

The Ohlins, Hyperpro & most linear dampers dohave adjustments unless they are the stock ones (except the ZX10R which is an Ohlins). The Scotts is made by Ohlins also. They are all good; just depends on your taste. They perform the same function regardless of what one manufacturer say theirs does better. If it's mounted on the upper steering stem and the frame, it works on the same forces the same way. The ones that are for the ZX6RR (mounted on the LH side of the frame & attached to the fork)work a little different but achieve the same result.

from looking around the seem to all be between 350 and 450. i think ill just go with scotts or gpr depending on which one i get a better deal on when i get the funds anyone know if a new GB can be set up

Not really because I bought one of the CHEAP Carbon look trim pad on ebay and used it as a template. I had to split the CF pad at the sharp bend down but it came out OK. Here's a better picture. Oh and another pic of the damper too.
