Maybe someone can answer this for me, but why would anyone want a solo seat cowl? How gay will it be when you explain to a qute girl that she can't ride on your bike because you have a solo seat cowl? If you are racing the bike it makes since, however for normal street riding one would never tell the differance.

I think it makes the bike look smooth, and it gives you a little bit more storage space. My husband has his own bike...besides it would look pretty weird to see a girl with a guy passenger!

As for ordering a seat cowl...I got mine from Advanced Kawasaki ($100 shipped), a dealer in California. However, I have seen plenty of them on ebay. For 2005, they should also have them on Kawasaki's website, just make sure when you do an accessory search, you change the year to 2005...it's going to default to 2006.

I just went to the Kawasaki website and went to the accesories page and then to the Ninja ZX-6r page and they had a link for seat cowls. They list the blue, red, silver, and green for 2005. They are all $99.95 each.

Here are the item numbers:

Blue
(99996-1348-723)

Red
(99996-1348-724)

Titanium Silver
(99996-1348-725)

Green
(99996-1348-777)

Just use the search for these item numbers on the Kawasaki website and it will lead you too the cowl of your choice.

If you are searching for a 2005 cowl, make sure you change the year at the top of the accersories page. I left it on 2006 and it only showed the green. Change it to 2005 and it shows all four colors.

You just have to explain that since you dont have your passenger seat on right now she should give you her # and you could call her later to go for a ride. I doubt you ride around with a spare helmet all the time "just in case" some chick wants a ride. Oh and last time i checked they really cleaned up the back of the bike. but thats just my opinion and we all know what they say about opinions lol
