Default Slipper Clutch on 05-06?

Does the '06 636 have a slipper clutch? If so, can it be installed on a '03?

Yes and yes, but with the 05-06 transmission. So if you've got your motor apart already, it's a good time to do it.

Try STM or you may have to get some ZX6RR transmission parts. I was looking to do the same with mine and I believe you need a ZX6RR input shaft which is a little longer & all the slipper clutch parts. There was a guy on the other forum who was making a conversion kit to install slipper clutches in 03-04 636's.
Ah, just found this little nugget you posted some time ago.
There is a 06 complete clutch on ebay right now, so that got me thinking. Not really interested enough to split the cases (again) and, more importantly, getting a new input shaft. Easy enough to do, but not in the budget at the moment.

Yes, you will definitely have to split the cases to do that.
