great for the track but maybe alittle to loud for the streets tho, u may have to check with your local law to see
Prolly too loud for the track regulations as well. Looks nice though.

That thing sound like an open header. They should have made a mid muffler under the engine.

I love the look and sound of the pine clip. I believe theres a cat converter under the plastics, right before the pinecone dumps out.

This is my first attempt to do something like this. What this is basically is a muzzy cf pipe and mid pipe cut down. The cf can is cut in half and the mid pipe is cut at the first bend. After i cut the can i repacked it and closed it back up (no leaks so far). Sounds like a beast, especially when you open up above 7k.

That looks pretty cool. Do you have a sound clip or any pics of the packing process?

Speed,
I too was thinking of putting a pre muffler under the engine, a la 2006+ gsxr/r6. On the 2005 zx6r engine i have there is almost NO ROOM at all! Im sure i could get somthing in there and it might help abit but my local track limit is 96db (basically a freshly packed aftermarket exhaust). I took a look a friends gsxr and it looks like they designed the oil sump around the under engine exhaust box.... it kinda got me thinking about machining up a new sump for my engine

An 03-04oilpan might fit. I think it's slightly different in the offset of the sump. Also try an 03-04 header section or you can cut the catalytic converter out and replace it with a short muffler.

I have a Short (Superbike)Yosh Carbon Fiber TRC available if anyone wants a short can. It's (straight) wide open & louder than thelonger cans.
