so i just bought this 95 zx6r and its ran fine for a few rides then the other day started getting really jerky in first gear and then just died at a stop. when i got it started it acted like i had ran it out of gas but there was gas in it. couldnt get the revs up at all. tried it again yesterday and it starts/chokes just fine and would rev up but as soon as i tried to drive it in first it bogged down, got jerky again and just died, would barely give me enough power to get up the driveway. any ideas whats wrong?

 

Drain the carbs. There might be water in the gas/ tank. Add some RXP in the tank. Try that first. Kohburn had some problems with his. Read his post here.
