Ok so i say i dont like anything stock, well i kinda do. The stock rims on the 05 636 are as nice as some of the after market gold rims i was looking at. so with that being said i cant see dropping $1600-3000 into a set of rims just cause i want them to be gold.

So my questions are:

will powder coating hold up?
who does powder coating? Im looking local, i just need an idea of what kind of shop i need to look for.
are there any other possible solutions to get my rims gold?

Any one have any idea on the cost of powder coating or what ever?

Gotrice powdercoating should hold up pretty good. We use to get stuff on the ship i was on powder coated all of the time and that stuff is so hard to chip or take off anything it's applied to. You should look for a powder coating shop around there.

powdercoating is one of the best solutions to changing the color. if im not mistaking its the hardest, least chipping paint. if you take the tires and rims off yourself, it souldnt be more than $150 ea to powdercoat them.. theres actually 2 places here that does them,
