If memory serves, take off/loosen only as much as you need to in order to get your hands in there.

beat it with a bfh..

on the fronts :::

remove the plastic on top of the bike, so you can get to the plugs.

now take a allen wrench and go inbetween the front tire and inner fairing, remove the 2 allen head screws.

take a stubby phillips head screw driver and remove the 2 screws holding the triangle piece of the fairing that holds the signal on the bike. you can jimmy it out or just take the 1 screw out of the middle of the stock signal and snap it off to get it to break from its seal.

install the new lights in the reverse order.

plug them in and test them before you put it all back togather because if you need to replace a buld, its easier to remove the signal then trying to unscrew the light cap while its in the bike.

your done

go ride.

under the clip ons, they run from the head lights to about mid tank. held on with the last screw on the fairing closest to the rear of the tank. front and behind the screw is held in by a rubber grommit and the piece has a pin on it that goes into the grommits.

ah yes yes, nice. thanks for the write up just finished up. Super tight fit. i couldnt use one of the screw on either side, because the mounting holes didnt line up. but still very solid.
thanks again guys
