i definatly will for sure take some pics and post them up i just want to figure out how to get this one bolt off and im good to go.
What bolt ? if its the front motor mount bolt, try putting the bike up on the rear stand, i heard coming out sometimes there easy but once you pull the bolt out while the bikes leaning, the motor tweaks and makes it a pain in the *** to get in, i guess the same could be said for taking it out.

if its the rear bolt, let me know whitch one.

and post some pics.

i was looking at the pic from race rails i posted and i could powder coat half the bar green and the other half black like the frame and that would be pimp and uber camoflauged offering greater protection then just sliders alone.

See what you started BN? Like what your getting at evil. I'm thinking on mine all black to match the lower fairing, but I'm wondering if the gap from cutting the slider would be noticable.

I very excited to see what they look like. I would change my sliders out to get those.

looking at the picks of the 05-06 from race rails, it looks like the rails will fit and it wouldnt look that bad with the cut fairings. go back and look at the pics of the green bike, looks like he had the fairings cut for sliders before he put the rails on it. unless you did a hack job on the cutting, i think it will be fine.

I figure if the hole is noticeable just make a thin rubber gasket to fit over the mount. Noboby would know unless they had eagle eye. I did a most excellent job cutting (except for a wee little black mark on the paint)....becase it frickin' took long enough! Must of put that fairing on an off atleast 8 times.
