quick old school bike question

Default quick old school bike question

can i switch the fearing off my 98 zx6r to the 2000+ zx6r without much mods? like air induction and all that. also can i keep the side plastic? i really like the dual headlights apposed to the single. hopefully gonna paint my old girl this winter

umm....your gonna have to do alot of research on that one....probably require a custom mounting system

bah i was dreading that...i just thought that from 98 basically to 02 they were quite a bit the same. maybe i'll call my local stealership and see. anyone else? or someone tried it?? hopefully i can buy a new bike sometime and stunt this one....ahh to win the lottery [8D]

it would be worth it to me. i really like the front end of the newer bikes. just dunno if i have the time and finances

I have thought the similar thing... I like the look of the dual headlights also. I love my sled, and I don't want to get rid of her. My plan was tho, if you are good with fiberglass work, to keep the front cowling, which I like the style of, and have dual headlights custom worked in.... If you have a friend in the auto body business, etc.... Would prob run about the same price??
