i'm getting the rs5 slip on, carbon fiber. is there a sound difference between the carbon fiber with the cone shaped end vs. the stainless steel with the puckered a$$ look? and where does every body mount their plates when they put the new exhaust on? i can't find mounts anywhere. and how importnat is the power commander if i put on the slip on myself? Thanks to everybody who can point me in any direction whatsoever! i'm lovin the pool of knowledge this forum holds, you guys are on it!!

they mount their plates up and under the seat. I take it you have the 05-06 636...

I have the yoshi exhaust for my 05 636 and i made a license plate bracket with a piece of angle iron and mounted it on the two bolts that stick through below the rear foot pegs. The only thing bad about it is that i had to buy a led and mount it for a plate light.

 

why is the led bad ? post a pic of it if you can. im looking for a alternite light idea.
