does anyone know the "proper" tool to tighten the head/neck bearing on a 2007 zx6r? i went on a sweet 1000km run this weekend and on the way home the front end seemed a bit wobbly and it clunked a bit when i stopped hard. i'm assuming it's the bearing. there are torque specs i think, how do you get the right torque with a spanner wrench? i AM NOT using a freakin hammer and punch so don't even go there lol. too many bumpy roads and wheelies i guess. gonna suck if i gotta put it in the shop for $70+/hr.

check ur tire pressure next. if it's still there

 

most likely, check the axle at the same time.

 

trying to find a spanner wrench in my area has become a bit of a PITA! i'm sure if i order it from my kawi dealer it'll be $100, or $70 for him to do it. the front wheel is making a bit of a squeaking sound when i am going slow also. maybe i should take it back to him and ask wtf he did to my bike when he changed the rotors/pads etc.
