power commander??

hey guys i just got a pc3.... so b4 i fo install it i need to get the correct map it in..(i bought one for the RR same thing other than map) so how can i put the map in it if i have no power to it? i dont have a laptop to take out to the bike and load it.. so my question is how do i get power to it while i have it in my apartment??

With a very, very long usb cord. Surely the web site can show how to do it manually. If ya can't borrow a lappy, the last ditch effort would be take the whole pc down to your bike!

Forgot about this 'cause mine didn't come with it.

From website: Using the 9 volt power adapter that came with the pc3 allows you to remove the pc from the bike and bring it inside to you computer. Just flip in the disc ( or got to website) open map for exhaust, send file, wait 2 secs and bam! your done.

theres a little 9volt battery harness that you plug into the pc3. it should have came with your pc3, unless you got it from someone else. you can usually pick one up from your local bike shop for free.. i know we give them out for free since we get so many of them and have them laying around by the hundreds.. or just see if you can buy one from them for like $2.. most people are willing to give them away
