Default Positive points on the 2006 ZX-6R

Went back to the dealership today and I think I have decided to purchase the 2006 (still new) ZX-6R-the limited edition silver one with the red flames/tribal patterns. I have been having a hard time deciding whether to buy the ZX-6R or the ZZR-600 but I figured I would go for the gold. The ZX-6R is not as comfortable but I am sure that it will compensate for that in the power. So I need you guys to help convince me that I am making the right choice here. Can you share some of the positive points that you think the ZX-6R has when being compared to the 2007 ZZR-600. Maybe this will help me sleep a little easier after spending the extra $800 for the ZX-6R. Thanks

Well not sure what has changed between 06-07 on the ZZR but I own a 2000 ZX-6R which is a ZZR now. Carbs instead of fuel injected... ZZR is fat and heavy, ZX6R is gorgeous, light, agile, and of course fast. I do agree that the ZZR if it is indeed the same bike as my 2000 ZX6R is more comfortable though but I've never been put off by the comfort level of the ZX6R... I don't know if you're going to spend that much money already 800 dollar difference wouldn't be anything that would keep me away from something I wanted. If indeed you like the ZX6R anyways. For me it was a no brainer I LOVE my ZX6R

Just get the 636. Last year made, it's fun as hell to ride, and you can be cool like Evil and I!

I love my ZZR600. Its comfortable and still pretty damn fast, saying that I will now say Id definatly go with fuel-injected. As was said before whats an extra $800? Go for the ZX6R.

i own a limited edition 06 636 and a good friend of mine bought his zzr about a month after i got mine, i have ridden both and i can honestly say past the first week or 2 (time it takes my back to adjust after not riding for a while) the 636 is not that uncomfortable at all. i was able to do a side by side ride for a good 8 or 9 hours with his zzr and my 636 and i was not that fatigued. one thing about the zzr i didnt expect though is it is torquey, for some reason i can pop that one better than my 636 (prolly just in my mind) hope this helps, for 800 extra i gladly paid, but it is ultamatly your choice, think how much you are going to ride
