Last rear got a nail at 800 [&o]. The one before got a nail at 3000 still had good tread. It will depend mostly how you ride, burn outs and always accelerating as fast as you can will cause more wear. Normal street ridding should yield 3000.

I love these tires, mummies for ever.

Is 3000 miles considered good?... I have over 8000 on my Bridgestones.. Commuting to work everyday (30+ miles one way) and a handfull of road trips with a lot of twisties..

Pilot Powers are real sticky, but as a consequence will wear out a lot sonner!! It's the old story of compromise...the best sticking tires that'll give you the best grip for 'sport' riding will wear out a lot sooner. If most of your riding is commuting, you can get tires with much better life but loose some of the stickiness. I just put Metzler Z6's on my bike which are a step up in stickiness from the OE Dunlops, but not as aggressive as the Pilots
