here's one of mine. I ordered it from a dealership in CA...Advanced Kawasaki, cause my dealer kept telling me kawisaki hadn't made any of them yet. I wouldn't go with the 05 titanium though, cause it's a flat finish $100 shipped.

 

thanks cmk, i had to cancel the one i had ordered from 58cycle because they had no idea when it was coming in, so mabey by then kawasaki will offer the titanium ones on their site or through a local dealer. on a side note, i just ordered my muzzy slip on tonight

side note guys: theres a guy on e bay selling the 2006 colors guaranteed to match, he has others too like the 05 blue. its koupes cycle and he has a e bay store. buy it now price is like 119.00. i called them up and they were informative and said it would match. mine should be here on friday so ill post back. annnnd its a oem kawi part painted by kawi. so hopefully itll all be good.

 

Mine was OEM genuine Kawi. The paint matches perfect. I was a little nervous when I ordered it because I thought for sure I was going to get the 05 titanium. When it got here, I couldn't believe how perfect it matched.

 

cmk, does the cowel still come off with the key or is it fixed on their.

 

it comes off with the key just like the seat does so you can still lock your helmet. It also allows for a little bit more storage space.

 

OEM huh. I called them a few weeks ago and for some reason got the impression it was an aftermarked part made by another company. I'll look to get one sometime next month. Do you have their phone number handy?
