Default Opinions on a fairing swap

Hey guys ive got a 2002 yellow zx6r such as the all yellow one i atatched, the 2001 yellow model has more stickers including a black nose. Im not a fan of the stickers but i always thought the black nose would look great on my bike so i did a little picture chop job to see what it looked like and i attatched the picture of the outcome. What do you think?

the other thing how much do you guys think i can get for my fairing (just so i can see how much out of pocket i would be looking at to make the switch). There is no cracks in my upper just a little chipping/rashing just along the edge on the one side (very small amount).

thanks guys

forgot to mention that my wheels are black not yellow, i think that makes the balance of black to yellow a little better too

Jus get it painted instead of swapping it. There are places that will charge 1/2 the price of a new one to repair & paint fairings.

i did the full pearl on my entire bike for 450$, that is with me doing work on the farings (sanding) and prep, just paid for the paint, way cheap, the main dthing that cost was the pearls . and keep in mind that was the whoe bike not just the nose

Just an option/ suggestion. Were you thinking of buying just a black upper fairing? I thought you were going to buy the whole set. If you're just going to get the upper, your idea is better. Buy one off ebay and resell yours. Yo may end up not paying any extra or even making money on that deal.

just the nose, or part of it, would be black. the bike would come out looking like the final picture.

Maybe a little more black on the upper would look better; maybe down to the Ram-Air intakes or aligned with the top of the tank.

i agree with speedracer. It took me a little bit to see what was going on in till i noticed the outline of the chop. It does need more black on it but that's just my 2 cents
