Which one?!

I didn't know they made the second system so right now I am not leaning towards that because the difference is a rear tire in price!

RE: Which one?!
Also looking at chain and sprocket right now. From the looks of it, -1/+2 front/rear which would make it a 14 front and 42 rear. That would make the gear ratio 3.00. I will be using it for mostly in town driving, but I will be making several trips of over 100 miles several times a month. Would that be a good setup? I am looking at buying everything I need fromthe same site I posted ^. Tires, exhaust, air filter, chain, sprocket, and whatever else I find up there. I really don't know that much about gearing, and I am not looking to build a wheelie machine at all. I just know that there are better setups than the stock. Thank you for your time and comments! - Matt -

RE: Which one?!
The tires I am getting are the Avon Super Venoma AM20 and AM18. From what I have read, they are the best sport tire for my bike. I am just sticking with the stock rims, so yea, that's all I got for now...what are the other thoughts on gearing you have. Sorry, it has been a party night and I am surprised I am typing as well as I am. Thanks for the responses Dragone!

RE: Which one?!
The Avon's I am getting are 110/90v16 and 130/90v16...$81 and $97 respectively. I have been reading and they are the best sport tire for the bike. The Bridgestone's were next in line but they have been said to be a harder compound than the Avon's. Also, I have been reading more about the gear ratio's and I think 3.00 might be a little high when the top speed of this bike is stock 140.7. I don't really care if I can go that fast, but I know that 2.60 is not the greatest for acceleration. I have also been looking at ignition advancers. What do they do? Do they just advance the timing? What are the pro's and con's? Thanks again!

RE: Which one?!
I see that the Avons are both 90 profile. The stock front was a 90 also? cool, was just thinking on the geometry changes was all.
I normally like to try just +2 on the rear sprocket to try her out kind of deal. Dropping one on the front only tends to really upset my liking in a ride.
