whats' the best oil to use. i just put in 100% synthetic and someone told me that it could screw up the clutch. any sugg????? 05636

 

I run full synthetic in mine. Everyone is gonna post a different type of oil to use, including myself. As long as the oil you put in was not energy conserving, then you will be fine. The energy conserving oils can cause clutch problems because of some additives they put in. I myself run Mobil 15w50 full syn.

What kind of oil, what brand and what weight did you use?

 

I ran the kawa oil til my break in was up well actually for about 3000 miles then switched to 100% synthetic amsoil.

 

I'll be running Valvoline Full Synthetic as soon as I get a few more thousand miles. Good Stuff!

 

next oil change for me will be shell rotella synthetic.

 

Don't run Synthetic until you have about 10,000 miles on it just to make sure the rings have seated fully.

 

since red bull keeps my engine pumping strong, i figure if would help keep my 636 running strong. So I just use 4 quarts of red bull, and since it's release I use Vault as an additive when I fill up the gas tank...
